Introducing.....
Celene!

She is a 1 1/2 year old Mustang! She was collected from the wild (in Oregon) as a weanling in December of '09 and was put into the care of someone near me to be gentled (she was halter trained when I got her and totally used to humans). I had been looking into getting a Mustang for about a year when I saw her at the fair in August. She was there looking for an adopter and that turned out to be me! I was able to finally get her on September 10th.
I am going to give her a birthday sometime near April, hopefully around then I can start riding her, I can't wait to do that! I have trained her to pick up her hooves and let me hold them and pick them (she had been started but wasn't yet holding them when I got her), to step sideways when I say "over" and press into her side (to start her on responding to my heels when I ride) and she had been taught to do some backing and I have worked on that more and she will do it whenever asked now. I have also been doing lunging with her and she has learned to walk in circles (though most of the time it is more like an oval) and I can get her to walk and trot.
I am currently working to try to get her used to being on the road with cars. Our road is not well traveled so that means long breaks between cars (which is good for her) and so far she is doing pretty well.
Here are some more pictures to end with:

By the way, Kona from the previous posts was brought back to health and given to a friend's family. :)
